Wankiffery

1. Corporate event hosts acknowledging dignitaries that require recognition, validation or appreciation with an imagined care factor and no emotional substance i.e. ticking boxes or meeting criteria to adhere to formalities (that know one actually cares about)
2. Practicing etiquette to create a perceived sense importance
3. Making someone or something feel important when you give zero fucks e.g. Blowing smoke up a person’s bottom
4. Synonym: bullshit, rigmarole, waffle on, carry on, dribble
