escelevator

An escalator; a moving staircase. Originally heard in a Popeye cartoon many many many many years ago. To this day I use the term, and I cannot stop.

"To gits to the Lingerie department, get on the escelevator and go to the second floor."

MIM

Descriptive acronym applied to
Fender(R) guitars and basses of Mexican manufacture. i.e. Made In Mexico

Put a set of decent pickups in an MIM P-Bass and its almost as good as having the real thing.
