Kirk move
An extraordinarily unwise decision, having immediate and profound detrimental effects on one's own finances, health, and general well-being. Quite often a person committing a Kirk move will find themselves homeless, addicted to a wide variety of intoxicants, and suffering from one or more advanced venereal infections.
