Making a mistake or failing to achieve an objective, largely due to not being aware of one's surroundings.

Usually refers to a team or group environment, as in letting one's team down due to one's own shortcomings.

"Good job, you really pwyffed that one!"

"Yeah, we lost another game because Leo was pwyffing it up."
