When a female, lesbian or not, has extremely short hair (usually a crew cut) and spikes it up. To be a true dyke spyke, it should be easy to mistake them from the back as a guy.

The stereotype that all girls that play softball are dykes and are butch-like. The stereotype is kind of true, kind of not. (mostly true though)
