Verb. Used to denote a business that has permanently closed due to unsafe conditions in neighborhood from numerous and repeated criminal activity.

Just today two more restaurants in Oakland announced they were Sheng Thaoed and will permanently close by the end of the week.

Chamathed

To lose a large sum of money investing in SPAC (Special Purpose Acquisition Company) companies listed on stock exchanges. In particular there was the so-called "SPAC 2.0 Platform" companies - IPOA, IPOB, IPOC, IPOE which subsequently saw large declines before they were eventually liquidated. Recently there is the "SPAC 4.0" addition like AEXA.

I was Chamathed back in 2023 after investing in IPOA, but I hope this time around will be better with AEXA.
