ring down 

A sort of cult like meeting where (usually) females of college age gather in a circle passing around a candle with an engagement ring on it. During this, they sing an incantation to bring down a blessing upon the couple.

There’s a floor meeting tonight, I wonder if Georgia is having a ring down.
