why is this

A phrase used by illiterate numskulls. It is feigned as a question but really is a passive attempt to tell a person they are wrong.

You wuz sposed to give me a ride, but I don't see no car in front of my house. Why is this?

Will be the end of me

If something is extremely hard or impossible, it may be the end of you. Refers to the fact that you may die of scrutinizing this thing, to get it perfect, etc.

This wording in my report... I swear it will be the end of me!
