A photo sharing app which is a lame way of becoming popular that people use to take vein and stupid selfies. People who use Instagram tend to become addicted and eventually there whole life becomes consumed by it. People who have it are often referred to as Instatwats and will do whatever it takes to get more followers than all their friends

A: Hey I just got Instagram did you see my latest post
B: Yeah, you finally become one of the Kool Kids.
