Geostigma 

A disease in Final Fantasy VII which is caused by Jenova's and Sephiroth's cells in the lifestream. They infect living humans whose bodies try to remove it, causing severe damage and eventually killing the host.

Your geostigma is gone... That's too bad

The last thoughts of Geostigma's death... those remnants will join the lifestream and girdle the planet; choking it; corroding it.
