The act of using your tongue to stop the crumbs from falling from a cookie after biting into it.

These cookies are a crumbling everywhere when I bite into them. I know, I will use cookielingus to catch the crumbs before they make a mess.

peripheral refresh

When you refresh a web page, but you catch something interesting on the sidebar before it changes. You can go back... but the image is different.

I had a peripheral refresh graphic of a shirtless man coughing up blood on the sidebar... but I refreshed the page, and now it's an ad for Room To Go.
