Zionist

a supporter of Zionism; a person who believes in the development and protection of a Jewish nation in what is now Israel. Zionist's believe they have a right to a Jewish nation and that Jews have the right to live in Israel.

My father, who was a Zionist, told my mother to take the family to Israel.
