Anything which is given far too much credit for its true value. Originally a mainstream brand of gaming computers whose popularity is among the uninformed beginner PC gamers. For the quality of the machines and customer service, the pricing should have been far lower than it was. Alienware is often associated with Beats headphones and Apple products (due to their actual worth being lower than they are made out to be).
Bob: "Hey, I just got my new Alienware laptop and it only cost me three thousand dollars!"
Joe: "I thought highly of you before you told me that."
