Bill Self

Head coach of the Kansas Jayhawks mens basketball team, hired in 2003 after Roy Williams left for UNC. Has also coached at Oral Roberts, Tulsa, and Illinois. Has led three different teams to the Elite Eight, but has yet to reach a Final Four.

Bill Self's Jayhawks were the first to occasionally wear red uniforms since Larry Brown's 1988 national championship team.

The Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. Region in Alaska in which Republicans favor drilling for oil. Environmentally diverse region.

The debate on ANWR will be shelved for another year.
