Jesus christ

Jesus Christ is the central figure of Christianity, acknowledged as the eternal Son of God, the promised Messiah, and the Savior of humanity. According to Christian doctrine, He is the eternal Word (Logos) made flesh, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. Fully God and fully human, He lived a sinless life, proclaimed the Kingdom of God, performed miracles, revealed the Father's will, died on the cross as the atoning sacrifice for sin, rose bodily from the dead on the third day, ascended into heaven, and reigns at the right hand of God. Christians believe He will return in glory to judge the living and the dead and establish His everlasting Kingdom.
The title Christ comes from the Greek Christos ("Anointed One"), equivalent to the Hebrew Messiah. The name Jesus derives from the Hebrew Yeshua, meaning "The Lord saves." Christian theology recognizes Jesus as the only mediator between God and humanity, the Head of the Church, the source of salvation, and the perfect revelation of God's love, holiness, and truth. His life, death, and resurrection form the foundation of the Christian faith and the promise of eternal life for all who believe in Him
"I put my faith in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior."
