subhood

1.) A residential place that is above a hood, but it's not quite the level of a suburb either.
2.) A neighborhood where white republicans and black democrats somehow coexist without conflict.

"Man, I live in a subhood. Old white people are neighbors with gangsta young people. There's also a trap house right next to the republican place!"
