In the nba, a player will come off the bench to spark their team by scoring 6 quick points. These players are usually crafty veterans that you might not expect to even see the court that evening.

Broadcaster: "Eddie Jones comes off the bench for a quick 6 to spark the mavs at the beginning of the fourth quarter."
