Dad joke 

Jokes told by a lot of dads that may may been funny years or decades ago but have grown "tired" over time. Examples include "Caddy Shack" or "Borat" bits. Dads typically have a static repertoire of these jokes they have been perfecting for years.

Any time someone mentions New York Italians the Dad Joke in response may be "fuhgeddaboudit."

Honed 

Of exceptional quality or beauty, or otherwise acute, intense, or effective. Used briefly in Southern California youth culture in the late 70's and early 80's, possibly among the skater community.

That bike is honed. That jump was completely honed.
