Textbrick 

(n)- An academic textbook of such massive weight and proportion that it may only be described as a brick. A common cause of scoliosis when in large numbers.

May be used as hyperbole.

"Man, my chemistry teacher just gave me a massive Textbrick."
"Do you have to take it back and forth to school?"
"Yeah."
"Bummer."
