a gangsta is a person often asocialted with braking the law. To be a gangsta u need to be very street wise and be a nigga (have a black background) if you are a none black Gangsta you maybe mistaken for a chav. Gangsta's often hang around in groups (Gangs) and fight for teritory and drug money. Gangsta's often are mistaken for chavs but trust me u dont wanna mess wif no gangsta. A classic example of what a gangsta would wear,A pair of nike airs. Some bagy traksuite bottoms and a NY cap. This may appear as a chavy image however chavs have copies the image of Gangsta.
