Kailla

"Kailla" (noun, derogatory)
A South Asian masculine derogatory term used as an insult towards individuals with dark skin. It derives from the South Asian word kala (meaning “black,” referring to the colour), but when altered into kailla it is directed at a person rather than the colour itself. The term is highly offensive, informal, and functions as a racial slur within South Asian contexts. It has been compared in function to the N-word, though specific to South Asian usage.

In contemporary speech, some individuals use kailla casually among peers, detached from its original derogatory intent, yet it remains a slur and carries offensive connotations.
