forgift

to show someone who has wronged you that you absolve them with a symbolic token of that forgiveness; that you and they are starting fresh and you bear no malice

Adult: "Why did you give that little girl a new mitten when you know you didn't tear the old one?"

(N) Child: "Because I forgift her!"
