Taking Cookies

Attaining the wanted object from an opponent in any type of athletic event, especially soccer and basketball. When attempting to attain said object it is common to utter the phrase, "Cookie cookie cookie!" as the Cookie Monster from Sesame St. often exclaimed.

"Damn he stole the ball right off his foot!"
"Yeah, he's been taking cookies all night!"
