Many turbojet autopilot systems actually have a button labeled "FLCH" which is clearly pronounced "Felch Mode" by every corporate pilot I know.

For some reason many pilots are happy to discuss "Felch Mode" and why it should not be used.

PNF: We were cleared down to FL340, should I Felch you?
PF: Nah, just use VS mode.
