Sir'am

The proper way to address an individual whose gender can not clearly be determined. Circumstances when this would be appropriate for example would be communication between two or more persons with whom have not seen one another via email or text; An individual that appears to be one gender but has strong characteristics of another; A lady pissing in the urinal next to you.
