Retw Syndrome

"'Reinventing the Wheel' Syndrome" or otherwise 'Retw Syndrome', refers to when people on the internet feel the need to reinvent already existing words, phrases or ideas; often in an inferior and/or janky way.

"oh yeah he's my enbyfriend" - A

"y'know, gender neutral term for boyfriend/girlfriend" - A

"dude, I think you have Retw Syndrome, because the word 'partner' already exists" - B
