The instance in which a handful of people - who individually are all very cool and attractive - get together and ultimately try to fornicate. The drama that ensues destroys the bonds of their friendships and even the bonds with those not involved. Their group can be considered cancerous.

Dave is a cool guy and all, but his group suffers the orgy effect.
