devonism

A general theme or specific knowledge that, over a period of time, ranging from weeks to months, or even years, will repeat from groups of people with no knowledge of the general theme or specific knowledge's occurrence. This event is not a coincidence, and is caused by extreme luck. As Ian Fleming once said, "Once is happenstance. Twice is coincidence. Three times, it's enemy action."
Cristy and I were talking about "Don't Stop Believin'" and not only did it start playing on the car radio thirty minutes later, but the people next to us were talking about it while we watched the movie. It was totally a devonism
