Popular Girl Syndrome 

The need to be associated (often sexually) with people of certain importance as to boost ones pathetic ego. Popular girl syndrome is not gender specific but can most commonly be found in males.

Male subject seeks sexual and emotional attention of a female that he has no attraction to due to his perception that her popularity exceeds his own. He totally has Popular Girl Syndrome.
