The response to a snide, "Thank you, Captain Obvious" remark that not only maintains a military subtext, but also asserting superiority, by virtue of a captain being a commissioned officer and a corporal being a non-commissioned officer.

MAIL CLERK: Thank you, Captain Obvious.
