Maf

The quick-witted method of trying to do math without applying true mathematical principles. Ex. Trying to figure out a math problem by guessing and not knowing.

My son asked me to help him with his trigonometry. I looked at it. Don't know it and said I grew up doing maf; what you have is new math.
