An individual, organization or movement that seizes on the opportunity of terrorism committed by another group to benefit or further their own purposes. Generally the terrortunist increases the validity of terrorism through perpetuating it's purpose.

After the Paris attack the Freedom Caucus quickly become terrortunist by starting legislation to stop the flow of refugees from Syria.
