Beater 

Are cars that are old and rusted cars that have reduced performance, engine/mechanical problems and mismatched body panels, but still drivable. These cars probably went on poor care by their owners. They're great cars to own for beginners

Hey son, since you got your driver's license , I'm buying you a '96 Toyota Camry, beater ones. I can't still trust you driving a new car, because you'll probably make a mistake and crash. Since I can't pay dozens of cash on insurance.
