Roast

A pre-planned several hour period a group spends planted in a single location, marathon watching a movie/TV series, shooting the shit or drinking; a state of being connected to the present moment.

To avoid the Sunday Scaries, Mike scheduled a roast watching obscure brutally gory western films and eating an assortment of eggs.

Rot

To intentionally spend the day planted on the couch or in bed watching movies, tik toks or just generally being lazy, typically on the weekend or after a night out.

Katie rotted all day declining her Rover requests after a long night of gin & karaoke.
