A person, usually a journalist, who uses misleading and sensational headlines like "Disney Cuts Ties With YouTube Star PewDiePie After Anti-Semitic Posts" in order to destroy all threats to print media. Or spreads easily refutable rumors about someone, but to people important to that person first as to cause damage.

Mallory is such a hypofritz, telling all Alice's teachers and parents she is promiscuous. Bob took her on a date last week and he said she was a virgin, but made a 9 sex jokes in the last 30 days. Shame she lost all those scholarships eh?
