What the pepper 

Used as “what the heck” first said and invented by the Youngs from Kentucky. Now used amongst many as a clean way of saying what the (you know what!). WTP for a short abbreviation.

Alexandra: Did you see that man walking down the street with a parrot on his shoulder?

Courtney: What the pepper! I missed that!
