Stand-Tunes

An often-pursued type of melody in marching band. Several such song shall be repeated, with no new installments each year.

Now, Band, you can play at least TWO notes in these stand-tunes correctly this time. Now, But Da-da-dut!

Straight Superiors

A term used to describe how a Band has gotten all "perfect" scores from the judges, but completely fail on the sight-reading test.

Good job, Band! You got straight superiors! Too bad you didn't pass the sight-reading portion...
