an individual who loves cats. Also confused ailurophobia, which is the fear of cats.

Susanne - "Hey, Ashton, are you a cat person or a dog person?"

Ashton - "I'm an ailurophiliac."

Susanne - "What does that mean?"

Ashton - "It means I love cats!"
