A common Australian saying for 'brother', referring to a friend of yours. This type of language is usually found in the tropics of the Northern Territory of Australia.

Brian: Aye brus, you go to the party last night? Dylan chugged a whole fucking 6-pack!
Daz: Yeah brus I did, and yeah Dylan is an absolute mad dog
