Basophils are a type of white blood cell and a type of Granulocyte. They Fight off Parasitic worms or Pathogens in which Neutrophils and Macrophages Phagocytize(Eat) . Basophils are a rare type of White blood cells and make up 0.5% of your White Blood Cell Composition. Basophils are not the only ones that fight of Parasitic worms and/or pathogens which Neutrophils and Macrophages cannot Phagocytize, there are also Eosinophils (1-5%), Mast cells (10%)
