Nomsomnia

A mix of "nom" and "insomnia," the web slang term for late eating. It refers to the practice of eating while partly asleep or unconsciously waking up in the middle of the night to get a snack. Stress, erratic sleep patterns, or late-night cravings that disrupt their biological clock are common symptoms of nomsomnia. People often wake up with little to no recall of how it happened and discover food missing, wrappers open, or crumbs all over the place.
