A kick. To "give a boot" is to kick someone. Most popularly used in high schools in southern Ontario, Canada.

"Hey, John's being a jerk. Give him a boot for me."

n. White noise. The white and black flakey crap that comes up on your television when you don't get a certain channel.

"Just turn off the TV. All it's showing is static."
