When you have put some food on your fork then decide that you would really rather have it on your plate so remove it from your fork (or defork it), however after careful self deliberation one might then feel it necessary to put the food back on the fork and this is the point that one has undeforked their food.

I was feeling very indecisive that day so undeforked my food many times.
