Americanized

When something or someone from a foreign culture is adapted/changed or adapts/changes itself to allign with american culture and/or american standarts. (usually also comes with the underlying perception of american culture as being either superior or "the standart", also read "US Defaultism")
It's a neutral term in itself, but it is most commonly used as a negative in discussions about american imperialism/soft power and it's impact on foreigners and their cultures, products and exports.

Another word used with similar meaning (but more broadly about "global north" cultural impact in other cultures) is "colonized"

Obs: People (usually from the "global north") talking about the same concept in defense of a foreign standart while actually not fully knowledgeable of the cultural context of said standart, usually uses "westernized".
"I had to send my son back to our village for a while to remember his roots, he was becoming too americanized"

"Friend 1#: It's 32ºC outside, please put on a top and shorts or you'll boil;
Friend 2#: I just don't like exposing myself like that;
Friend 1#: And you're going under the blasting sun with jeans and a hoodie like a wattpad protagonist? stop acting americanized and go put on some decent weather-appropriate clothes then"

"That gas station is so cheap they americanized, now you gotta put your own gas!"

"I hate americanized translations, they only loosely translate the words but not the sentence structure and even make up ones that just doesn't exist in our vocabulary"
