Stropisode 

A series of strops, or a single instance of a strop in a series of strops. A pattern of repeated tantrums or sulks. Generally head-wrecking, unacceptable behaviour, especially in domestic relationships.
Couples in domestic relationships experience a stropisode when their partners repeatedly behave badly for reasons that are not immediately apparent.
