run drag

A planned interruption of someone's plans to get somewhere on time. Can be a team sport!

Joe's got to be at his homegirl's in two minutes; let's run drag on him! LOL. (If he was gonna be there in two minutes, now it'll be four...he was purposely delayed by a hard to get out of conversation or extended goodbye. )
