2) A way of referring to your female parent in Britain, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.

3) Mum can be used sarcastically towards friends when they're being demanding, controlling or oppressive.

Note: Americans and Canadians refer to their mum /muhm/ as mom /ma·ah·m/.
