Ramp Up

To increase something, especially the consumption of alcohol, suddenly and significantly. Can be shortened to “ramp” for conciseness.

“It’s time to ramp up the drinking. This is getting stupid.”

“It’s Friday. We’re looking at a ramp day today.”

“Ramp.”

Rape Day

A workday that is so exceptionally busy, stressful, and most importantly, uncontrollably unpleasant that it is comparable to being raped.

I already know tomorrow is going to be a rape day just based on how busy it was today.
