lol

A word prescribing the end / final / shutdown of a sentence or conversation; where the writer of the lol is either over the conversation and wants to move on (possibly as they know the other person wont cyber with them or answer their a/s/l query), or the recipient of the lol abruptly finds themselves with nothing to respond to - thus the painful end of conversation.

Person-1: So Syriana was a pretty damn complex movie! I kept up with it though, as involved as it was. What did YOU think of it?
