Wakefield
A picturesque village in the Gatineau Hills. Known for its covered bridge, its fall colours, its croissants, and its STDs. You're either from here or you're not, and "not" doesn't expire. Everyone knows everyone. The hills have eyes, the walls have ears, and there's nothing to find — by design.
adj. Insular, watched, nothing findable.
adj. (of a thing or person) Immaculately kept and rotten underneath.

"That's so Wakefield" — adj. When everyone knows exactly what happened and nobody does anything about it. Collective ignorance.
